Las Vegas, (December 18, 2014) Q-rooms LLC, a full-service convention and special events housing services agency, marks its one-year anniversary in December 2014 with success. In its first year Q-rooms handled a greater amount of business than anticipated. 2014 included record-breaking room actualization by Gen Con 2014 delegates. Gen Con LLC, producer of Gen Con: The Best Four Days in Gaming! North America’s largest and longest-running hobby games convention. It partnered with Q-rooms LLC in December 2013 for hotel contract negotiations, guest room reservations management, and related administrative operations. The partnership may be new but Gen Con has worked with two of Q-rooms’ managing partners for years — Owen Seyler and Rita Milandri.
Owen Seyler has 20 years of executive-level management experience serving entertainment and events companies. Owen’s been engaged in high profile, city-wide event production since 2004, having served Gen Con LLC as Show Manager and Executive Vice President before establishing his own consulting practice in 2007.
Rita Milandri has 15+ years in housing operations serving Visit Indy, the Indianapolis Convention and Visitors Association. In her latter years of service Rita managed the bureau’s housing division and call center operations, including account supervision of the Gen Con event (one of Indianapolis’ largest annual conventions).
